Flue Gas Desulfurization
The equipment for desulfurization treatment of industrial waste gas is mostly tower equipment, that is, desulfurization tower. The desulfurization tower is widely used in granite masonry. It uses the principle of water film desulfurization and dust removal, also known as granite water film desulfurization dust collector. Now with the development of FRP technology, the desulfurization tower is gradually changed to FRP manufacturing. Compared with granite desulfurization towers, FRP desulfurization towers have low cost, easy processing, rust resistance and light weight, so they have become the main development trend of desulfurization towers. In the desulfurization tower, the industrial flue gas passes through the spray layer and the demisting layer successively to chemically absorb SO2 in the flue gas. Therefore, the high-concentration SO2 flue gas is continuously purified to meet the desulfurization emission standard.
At present, there are three kinds of anti-corrosion materials commonly used in desulfurization towers in my country:
The first is to use carbon steel lined with glass fiber reinforced plastic, glass flakes or rubber lining and other materials. These materials often have the phenomenon of falling off and damage of the lining due to poor wear resistance and different expansion coefficients of each material, resulting in anti-corrosion failure;
The second is a ceramic material, which cannot resist the corrosion of fluorine in the flue gas;
The third type is a stainless steel material with better corrosion resistance, but this material cannot resist the long-term corrosion of sulfur dioxide, fluorine and chlorine in the flue gas under high temperature conditions;
The FRP desulfurization towers successfully produced by our company are widely used in flue gas desulfurization towers in the electric power and non-ferrous metal industries due to their advantages of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and long service life.
The installation of FRP desulfurization tower is roughly similar to the installation of FRP chimney:
1. Prefabrication of FRP desulfurization tower and steel support
2. Segmented hoisting and fixing of carbon steel brackets
3. Simultaneously carry out the segmented hoisting and fixing of the FRP desulfurization tower
